WHO WE ARE: The Lakewood High School Band and Orchestra Boosters, Inc is a non-profit organization made up of parents and students (current and past).
WHAT WE DO: We support all music programs at Lakewood High School and Colorguard. Our musicians work tirelessly every day to do what they love, and we stand behind them every step of the way.

Mission
To provide resources and support that will allow the Lakewood High School Band and Orchestra students and directors to achieve their objective to build and maintain a top-quality band program that provides life changing experiences for all involved in the program.
To achieve our mission of supporting our children, school and teachers, we need friends, like you, to pledge your support. Become a Lakewood High School Band and Orchestra Booster Club member or parent volunteer, volunteer your time or participate in one of our many programs, there are various ways to support our students. You can choose the ways that best fit your family’s needs and schedule. Part-time is OK! More than one is encouraged!

In October 2023, Lakewood High had the pleasure of bringing Kody Kuehnast, a graduate of California State University, Long Beach. With a fresh outlook and eagerness for new ideas and opportunities, Mr. Kuehnast is excited to welcome you to the music program at Lakewood High School.

Mr. Paulo Carmelo
Mr. Carmelo is thrilled to be part of the Lakewood High School team! He is a graduate from California State University, Long Beach with a Bachelor’s in Music Education and Instrumental Performance. Mr. Carmelo is currently pursuing a Master’s in Music Education at Vandercook College of Music. He has served as the Head Music Director at Hoover Middle School and currently conducts the Filipino American Youth Orchestra. “I am absolutely honored and excited to be leading the String Program at Lakewood High School!”
